The best bond! Amanda Stanton is happy with her boyfriend, Bobby Jacobs, and so are her two daughters, Kinsley, 7, and Charlie, 5.
“He’s, like, the guy that’s always around,” the Bachelor in Paradise star, 29, reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. “He’s always helping them with things. So, I think he’s like a father figure to them.”
She adds: “Charlie says that he’s her best friend, so it’s really cute.”
The Bachelor alum and the Tillow cofounder went public with their relationship in May 2018, and Stanton hopes they’ll “get married and have another baby … when it feels right.”
Her daughter, though, thinks there’s no time like the present. “Kins will always be like, ‘We want a baby brother! Give us a baby brother!’” Stanton says. “But they don’t really understand. … She wants me to get married and she wants Bobby to be her stepdad. She tells me that stuff all the time. … They’re at the age where that’s the fairy tale, so it’s really cute.”
When it comes to romantic gestures, the Lani the Label fashion designer loves when the athlete is there for her girls, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Nick Buonfiglio.
“I was in a wedding, so he helped pick Kins up from her dance class and stuff like that,” she tells Us. “So to me, that’s romantic.”
But with so much going on, the couple make sure to spend some time alone. “We try to schedule date nights once a week, which I think helps,” the Now Accepting Roses author says. “So we have a little bit of alone time, just for each other, without kids, without work stuff, without being on our phones.”
